Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bassett). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Pomona Red Devils 50-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Olympians have posted against the Red Devils since January 24, 2022.

Bassett's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Pomona, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bassett will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Edgewood at 4:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Pomona will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against La Puente at 4:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
