Shasta and Pleasant Valley squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Shasta had to settle for second. They took a hard 56-37 fall against the Pleasant Valley Vikings. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Shasta lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bria Tate, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Riley Rosales, who earned eight points.

Shasta's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Pleasant Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Shasta nor Pleasant Valley have any future games scheduled.
