Basketball Recap: Northern Lebanon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Northern Lebanon and Manheim Township squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Northern Lebanon had to settle for second. They fell to the Manheim Township Blue Streaks 45-41. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Streaks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2016.

Northern Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Manheim Township, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Northern Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manheim Township, they will venture away from home to take on Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lebanon will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Manheim Township surely won't give up without a fight.
