Seaside was the 2-0 winner over Santa Cruz when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans received a blow on Friday as they fell 44-27 to the Cardinals. On the bright side, the 27- point performance marked the Spartans' highest-scoring contest to date.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Santa Cruz, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.
