Arlington entered their tilt with Bowie on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Volunteers 3-0. The Colts have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Volunteers, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-14.

Ella Irons paced Arlington's offense, picking up eight kills. Irons got some help from Evelien Hodges and her 13 assists. Irons was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Arlington's record now sits at 12-19. As for Bowie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
