Baseball Recap: Wheeler Wildcats vs. Marietta Blue Devils
Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Marietta Blue Devils, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 last Tuesday.
Kenric Nair was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March.
