Basketball Recap: Antelope Valley Skates Past Pioneer Valley with Ease

Antelope Valley saw some tournament action on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 63-9 win over the Pioneer Valley Panthers. The Antelopes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Antelope Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ariana Soil out in front who posted 26 points. Soil's evening made it 20 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Leandriah Zachary was another key player, putting up 21 points.

The win made it two in a row for Antelope Valley and bumps their season record up to 12-1. As for Pioneer Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Antelope Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-19 victory against Atascadero on the 27th. Pioneer Valley has also already played their next contest, a 68-35 win against McFarland on the 27th.
