Softball Recap: Perry Wins Going Away Against Morrison

While Perry put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Morrison. The Maroons blew past the Wildcats 8-0. The Maroons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Perry pushed their record up to 12-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Morrison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Perry will be playing at home against Millwood at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morrison, they will head out on the road to face off against Hominy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
