Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stanton). They were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Sidney Cowboys on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won five in a row.

Stanton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Sidney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Stanton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against CAM on the 26th. Hopefully Sidney paid attention to the Vikings' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
