Softball Recap: Westminster Wins Going Away Against Lakeside

Westminster won the last time they faced Lakeside and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Vikings 13-1. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory got Westminster back to even at 9-9. As for Lakeside, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Westminster will head out to face off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeside, they will welcome Tri-Cities at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.42 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
