The matchup between Walled Lake Central and South Lyon East on Friday hardly resembled the 21-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Vikings were dealt a 49-19 defeat at the hands of the Cougars. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 21-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Walled Lake Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Lyon East, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
