Basketball Game Preview: Holton Wildcats vs. Hiawatha Red Hawks

After both having extra time off, the Holton Wildcats and the Hiawatha Red Hawks will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Holton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Rossville by a score of 71-61 last Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hiawatha's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They had to suffer through a 60-27 loss at the hands of Silver Lake. The match marked the Red Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hiawatha's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Holton, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Holton beat Hiawatha 49-38 when the teams last played back in February. Will Holton repeat their success, or does Hiawatha have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
