Soccer Recap: AGWSR Comes Up Short

AGWSR was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Webster City Lynx, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, AGWSR can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Webster City are ranked 62nd).

AGWSR's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12-1. As for Webster City, the win keeps they at an undefeated 18-0.

AGWSR has already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 15th. As for Webster City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Iowa Falls-Alden on the 12th.
