Basketball Game Preview: Ridley Raiders vs. Penncrest Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Ridley Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Penncrest Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridley will be strutting in after a win while Penncrest will be coming in after a defeat.

Ridley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Interboro to the tune of 50-22 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Raiders have posted since January 15, 2024.

Meanwhile, Penncrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 61-17 defeat at the hands of Garnet Valley. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Ridley moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Penncrest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Ridley lost to Penncrest on the road by a decisive 46-31 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Ridley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
