Basketball Game Preview: Summit SkyHawks vs. Silverado Hawks

The Summit SkyHawks will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Silverado Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Summit's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Silverado has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Summit is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Temescal Canyon to the tune of 73-41 on Saturday. The SkyHawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Silverado took a blow against Rialto on Wednesday, falling 93-28. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Knights are ranked 29th).

Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Summit, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
