Soccer Recap: Manzano Extends Winning Streak to Three

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Manzano ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They beat the Del Norte Knights by a goal, winning 2-1. While Manzano didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-16-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Ly Suwannasin was the driving force of Manzano's attack as he scored both of Manzano's goals, bringing his season total up to ten goals.

The win (which was Manzano's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for Del Norte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
