The Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers will face off against the Hampton Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since March 3rd on Friday. They came up short against Union Grove, falling 12-2. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jelean Masferrer, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Masferrer has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hampton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 17-9 to Woodland.

Dylan Peugnet made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Dayton Christian was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hampton, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-10.
