It was a good run, but Garey unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Sierra Vista Dons, falling 57-26. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sierra Vista found their leader in sophomore Zaira Eulloque, who went 9 for 12 on her way to 23 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eulloque has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Priscilla Dealtan, who posted four points and three steals.

Garey's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Sierra Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Garey will square off against Nogales at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sierra Vista, they will face off against Duarte at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Duarte will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sierra Vista surely won't give up without a fight.
