Soccer Game Preview: Christopher vs. Central

The Christopher Cougars will take on the Central Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Christopher, who comes in off a win.

Central better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Christopher really get things going. Christopher never let Prospect onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Thursday. Malia Harding had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Cougars.

Despite a strong season so far, Central has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against Clovis West on Friday, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Grizzlies struggled afterwards.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Christopher, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.
