Football Recap: Moriarty Takes a Loss

Moriarty lost against Taos back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pintos fell 13-6 to the Tigers. The game marked the Pintos' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Evan Salazar looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 62 yards and one touchdown.

Moriarty's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Taos, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Moriarty will face off against rival Kirtland Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Taos is set to challenge their familiar foe Bernalillo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
