Volleyball Recap: Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors vs. Victory Christian Lions

Alabama School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Victory Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Alabama School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Victory Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alabama School for the Deaf will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gaylesville at 5:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Victory Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ragland at 5:00 p.m.
