After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shaw, Hardaway was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Westover Patriots as they made off with a 12-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Naryah Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Wilson was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run.

In other batting news, Daisia Crutchfield was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jayden Hamby, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
