Football Recap: Mountain Ridge Skates Past Clear Spring with Ease + How To Watch

While Mountain Ridge put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Clear Spring. The Miners took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over the Blazers. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Miners just coasted through the last quarter.

Mountain Ridge was led to victory by Kaiden Lissau and Carter Clites. Lissau rushed for 95 yards and two scores on only 11 carries, while Clites rushed for 49 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, Clites racked up 117.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Mountain Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noah Kenner and Nathan Miller.

The win got Mountain Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for Clear Spring, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Mountain Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 41-6 defeat against Frankfort on the 3rd. As for Clear Spring, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 62-27 loss against Albert Gallatin on the 3rd.
