Baseball Recap: Seckinger Find Success

On Saturday, the Seckinger Jaguars had just enough and edged the East Paulding Raiders out 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Landon Niemotka looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Seckinger let Jake Mars and Aiden O'Brien loose on the outfield. Mars scored a run while going 1-for-3, while O'Brien went a perfect4-for-4 with one RBI. The dominant performance also gave O'Brien a new career-high in hits (four). Another player making a difference was Harry Pirkle, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Seckinger now has a winning record of 2-1. As for East Paulding, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Seckinger will be playing at home against Grovetown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Grovetown has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for East Paulding, they will challenge Cherokee at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
