Basketball Game Preview: Tri-City Christian Eagles vs. Ramona Bulldogs

The Tri-City Christian Eagles will face off against the Ramona Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tri-City Christian has three straight victories, Ramona has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Tri-City Christian earned a 40-27 win over Del Lago Academy.

Tri-City Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Katie Busch, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Talia Anthony, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Tri-City Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Ramona ended up a good deal behind San Pasqual on Friday and lost 53-34.

Tri-City Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.3 points per game. As for Ramona, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.
