Basketball Recap: Winters Warriors vs. St. Helena Saints
Winters had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 31-23 win over the St. Helena Saints on Monday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.
Jordan Tucker was a one-man wrecking crew for Winters as she scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Maci Dodic, who earned five points.
St. Helena is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
