Trona came out on top in a nail-biter against Lone Pine on Friday, sneaking past 32-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tornadoes have posted against the Golden Eagles since January 24, 2020.

Meanwhile, Lee Vining was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Trona 52-10.

Trona is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.2 points per game. As for Lee Vining, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
