Falconer had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Maple Grove Red Dragons. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Erik Stenstrom, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Alex Nutt also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Falconer's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Maple Grove, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Falconer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maple Grove, they will welcome Randolph at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
