Baseball Recap: Chadwick Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Chadwick duked it out with Summersville on Monday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Chadwick saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Cantrell, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Chadwick's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Summersville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Chadwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Summersville has already played their next matchup (against Norwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
