Basketball Recap: MacDonald Comes Up Short

MacDonald played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 60-10 loss at the hands of the Mountain View Spartans. The Condor were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fiona Lee, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance also gave Lee a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Another player making a difference was Kai Matsumoto, who had nine points and five boards.

MacDonald has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

MacDonald has already played their next game, a 48-6 loss against Saratoga on the 14th. As for Mountain View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 38-35 defeat against Gunn on the 14th.
