Baseball Game Preview: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Habersham Central Raiders

The Hebron Christian Lions will head out to challenge the Habersham Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hebron Christian is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Hebron Christian will face Habersham Central after dropping another heartbreaker against Prince Avenue Christian on Friday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Lions fell 7-2 to the Wolverines.

Hebron Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Demitri Watts, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Habersham Central didn't have quite enough to beat Madison County on Wednesday and fell 5-4.

Habersham Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Hebron Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Habersham Central, though, as they've been averaging only 4.2 strikeouts. Will Hebron Christian keep running through batters, or will the Raiders buck the trend?
