Edmund Burke Academy is 8-1 against David Emanuel Academy since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, David Emanuel Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Central Fellowship Christian Academy a 10-0 shutout. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Rayleigh Faircloth was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Faircloth was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Payton Peebles was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2024. Addalyn Terwilliger was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
David Emanuel Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Fellowship Christian Academy only posted a batting average of .118.
Edmund Burke Academy took their win against David Emanuel Academy when the teams last played back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 13-4 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
