Softball Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rockdale County on Wednesday, Clarke Central came back down to earth. The Gladiators came up short against the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs on Thursday, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldoggs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 back in September.

Clarke Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Campbell, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Clarke Central dropped their record down to 7-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Winder-Barrow, their record now sits at 9-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clarke Central will face off against rival Loganville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Winder-Barrow is set to take on their familiar foe Habersham Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
