Winters Posts Huge Game in 38-14 Defeat
Starting off the list is Adairsville's Tre Winters, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Winters picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 30 yards and a touchdown.
Adairsville's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers takes on Gilmer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Northwest Whitfield pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Nuckolls and Northwest Whitfield will head out to take on Ridgeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Cody Bryan continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 111 receiving yards. He picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Heritage pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Bryan and Heritage will take on Calhoun at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
