Baseball Game Preview: River Ridge Knights vs. North Springs Spartans

The River Ridge Knights's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on the North Springs Spartans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Springs took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on River Ridge, who comes in off a win.

River Ridge's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Woodstock.

Meanwhile, North Springs lost 17-2 to Marist on Thursday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

River Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for North Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 10-19.
