Softball Recap: Boulder Comes Up Short

Boulder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 25-8 to the Fairview Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-4 on Friday.

Emmeline Cecere made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fairview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boulder will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Thornton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairview, they will challenge Thompson Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
