Football Recap: Harper Comes Up Short

Harper lost against Mason back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Longhorns were beaten by the Punchers 54-7. The game marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Harper's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mason, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Harper will be playing at home against San Saba at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mason, they will head out to square off against Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Punchers will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.43 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
