Soccer Recap: Cherokee Christian Comes Up Short

Cherokee Christian managed to keep up with Notre Dame Academy until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors came up short against the Irish Wolfhounds, falling 5-2. Cherokee Christian just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Cherokee Christian's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-6. As for Notre Dame Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Cherokee Christian will challenge Lanier Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will take on Killian Hill Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
