            Football Recap: Gulf Buccaneers vs. Fivay Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            
After losing to Fivay the last time they met, Gulf decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Buccaneers enjoyed a cozy  39-21 victory over the Falcons on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Buccaneers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

 Gulf's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kavion Brown, who rushed for 89 yards and two  scores on only ten carries, and also threw for 65 yards and one  TD. The Buccaneers are undefeated when  Brown posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.  Johnathon Jackson helped out on the ground, rushing for 133 yards.
Gulf's record now sits at 5-3. As for Fivay, they moved to 4-4 with that  loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gulf will host River Ridge  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Royal Knights' defense has only allowed 14.4  points per game  this season, so the Buccaneers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fivay, they will challenge Zephyrhills at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. That  contest will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Je'Barri Brown and  Roe Miller.
