Softball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus managed to slip by Lee County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils came up short against the Trojans on Saturday, falling 10-2. The Blue Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Columbus' record is now 8-11. As for Lee County, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-10-1 record.

Coincidentally, Columbus and Lee County will both be playing Marion County the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Blue Devils will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
