Football Recap: Biglerville's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Biglerville won the last time they faced Hanover and Aidan Hoffman did his part to make sure it happened again. The Canners put the hurt on the Nighthawks with a sharp 31-6 victory on Friday for which the team can thank Hoffman, who rushed for 199 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Biglerville is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.

The win made it two in a row for Biglerville and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Hanover, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Biglerville will take on rival Littlestown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hanover is set to face off against their familiar foe Bermudian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
