Baseball Recap: Leetonia Takes a Loss

Leetonia lost to Columbiana back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears came up short against the Clippers, falling 20-1. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leetonia's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Columbiana, they moved to 10-15 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Leetonia will take on Chalker in a tournament on Friday. As for Columbiana, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Lowellville at 5:00 p.m. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75 runs per game on average), something the Clippers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
