Soccer Recap: Thomas County Central Comes Up Short

Thomas County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Lee County Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

Thomas County Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lee County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Thomas County Central will host Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lee County, they will head out on the road to take on Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee County's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Northside's offense will have their work cut out for them.
