Basketball Recap: Broken Bow Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Broken Bow had won two straight games and Charlee Myers did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Indians simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chase County Longhorns 66-34 with plenty of help from Myers, who went 9-for-19 to rack up 28 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Broken Bow's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Arianna Johnson, who posted four points and ten rebounds. She also posted two assists, marking her first of the season.

Despite the defeat, Chase County had strong showings from Avery Beemer, who earned six points and six boards, and Alexandria Reeves, who had seven points.

Broken Bow now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chase County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Broken Bow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-51 win against Hershey on the 23rd. As for Chase County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-39 loss against Bridgeport on the 23rd.
