Brush hasn't had much luck against Eaton recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Beetdiggers will challenge the Reds at 10:00 a.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brush comes in on six and Eaton on seven.
Brush is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Southeast Colorado, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Beetdiggers have posted since September 30th.
Elizabeth Peckham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on 12 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jolie Tuck, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Eaton sidestepped Lyons for a 4-3 victory.
Bria Foster made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in September. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Emma Anderson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Minne, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Brush's record now sits at 20-6. As for Eaton, their record is now 23-4.
Saturday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Brush has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .496. However, it's not like Eaton struggles in that department as they've averaged .496. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Brush suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Eaton in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Beetdiggers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
