Unity Christian lost a heartbreaker the last time they played South O'Brien, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Knights blew past the Wolverines 8-1 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Unity Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for South O'Brien, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Unity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Central Lyon on the 20th.
