Basketball Game Preview: American Eagles vs. St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats

The American Eagles will head out to square off against the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. American will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

It was a Battle of the Birds when American took on Freedom on Friday. The Eagles strolled past the Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 57-40. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Falcons are ranked 887th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Ignatius College Preparatory beat Salesian College Preparatory 55-46 on Saturday.

American's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
