Softball Recap: South O'Brien Takes a Loss

If South O'Brien was riding high fresh off their 13-5 takedown of Harris-Lake Park on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell just short of the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in May.

South O'Brien's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, their record is now 13-9.

South O'Brien has already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Trinity Christian on the 27th. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-4 win against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn on the 27th.
