Softball Recap: Gretna Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Westview

Gretna faced Westview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Dragons came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Taelyn Rupiper tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
