Dewey entered their tilt with Collinsville on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 two weeks ago.

Londyn Bond was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Jaelynn Smith was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Dewey's victory bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Collinsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Dewey will take on Union at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Collinsville, they will challenge Booker T. Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
